Filmproductionservices France (FPS France), a subsidiary of Cactus Films, founded in 2013 is led by Thomas Buchwalder and Naoufel Ben Youssef.
Thomas and Naoufel’s reputations as former Unit and Production Manager, and now as Line and Service Producers is built from almost 20 years of experience in high quality execution on various small and large scale international productions.
Together with their team of highly skilled producers they provide local and international productions the essential tools necessary for a successful and cost efficient film shoot in France.
We worked on over 300 TV commercial, corporate and stills projects for major brands including Ford, Fed Ex, Coca Cola, BMW, Samsung, Hermes, Longines, Chanel, American Express and many more.
We have built up solid relations over the years with companies and networks such as HBO, VICE Media, Stick Figures, X-Filme-Creative-Pool, Pantaleon Entertainment, Warner Bros GmbH, Fremantle and UFA Fiction.
We have line produced various full scale movie productions and worked with renowned directors including Olivier Dahan, Jean Jacques Annaud, Stephen Frears, Wolfgang Becker as well as with Joel and Ethan Cohen on their short film Paris je t’aime (Paris I love you).

Swiss born, fluent in english, french and german. Studied literature and film. Wrote, directed, photographed, sound designed and edited acclaimed short films. Worked as Freelance Line Producer in commercial production for countless brands for more than 15 years before founding Cactus Films and FPS France. Service produced Wolfgang Beckers upcoming Feature Film « Me and Kaminski » with Daniel Brühl.
Fluent in french, english and arabic. Gave up his law career to travel the word. Organized camel safaris in the Sahara. Started his film career in TV Commercial with Michel Gondry, Joe Pitka and Darius Kondji. Built a village in the middle of the tropical rain forest in Cambodia. Worked as production manager and line producer with many prestigious directors in Europe, Middle East, Asia, North and South Africa before founding FPS France.
Virginie Drouot, started her career in TV commercial production with great companies including Partizan Midi-Minuit, Franco-American and Premiere Heure before moving to the US. She then expanded her experience to feature films for several years working with major studios and directors such as Steven Soderbergh on Full Frontal and Solaris, Gregory Hoblit on Fracture, and French director Florent Siri on Hostage produced by Bruce Willis. Virginie represents FPS France in Los Angeles.
